As elections are around the corner, Rasika has also joined with Palekar for the campaigning activities. According to Palekar, she is his strong mental support.

“Kerala is one of my favourite places. During my college days, I was fascinated by this Kerala girl. Now she is supporting me in the election campaign too, “he said.

Recollecting the same, Rasika said that “we met each other when we were studying at V. M. Salgaocar College here”.

Her father Raveendran Nair is from Kollam’s Attingal and mother Chandrika Nair is from Palakkad.

Notably, Palekar is a reputed criminal lawyer. He has been working as a social activist for a long time. It was just four months before he was invited by AAP chieftain and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Palekar joined the party influenced by its stand against corruption. Later he was chosen as the CM candidate.
