Dubai: The Dubai authorities has started issuing Multi-Entry Visas with five-year validity to the employees of multinational companies operating in the emirate.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, said in a tweet that their goal is to support their operations, provide corporate teams ease-of-access to the city and enable them to participate in events, conferences, and exhibitions.
He added that providing a supportive environment helps businesses raise their efficiency, flexibility and speed of decision-making, which in turn enables Dubai to reinforce its status as the world’s best city to live and work in & provide the conditions for institutions and individuals to excel.
Those who get the 5-year Multi-Entry Visas can stay in the emirate for upto six months during a visit. UAE cabinet approved the visa that allows multiple entries within 5 years in January last year. It was introduced to improve tourism and business sectors in Dubai. With this, the professionals and industrialists can avoid taking visas for each visit.
