Dubai: Kerala's handloom products are creating awe among the visitors at Dubai Expo 2020. The handloom products are being displayed in connection with the observation of ‘Kerala Week’ at the Indian Pavilion. The exhibition is being held on the second floor of the pavilion.

The exhibition aims to show the great marketing potential and possibilities of handloom products. It will act as a catalyst in exploring new market opportunities, finding creative design ideas for handlooms and reviving Kerala’s handloom sector as a whole. Kerala is implementing many projects focusing on the handloom market to make the presence of Kerala handlooms known in online and international markets.

Apart from this, the original copy of Samkshepa Vedartham, the first printed book in Malayalam, is being displayed during Kerala Week. It was printed in Rome in 1772. Kerala Week will end on February 10. The main focus of Kerala Week is on various projects, investment possibilities, tourism, IT and startup skills.
