Enjoy mango fritters with tea

Mango fritters

With the summer, the season of mango has begun in Kerala. Let’s make crispy and spicy mango fritters or ‘Mambazha pori’ to enjoy with tea.


  1. Maida- ½ cup
  2. Ripe Mango – 1
  3. Sugar – 2 table spoon
  4. Egg – 1
  5. Baking Soda- a pinch
  6. Chaat Masala – one small spoon
  7. Salt – a pinch
  8. Oil – accordingly
How to prepare?

Take a bowl and add maida, egg, sugar, baking soda, chaat masala and salt. Mix all ingredients well. Take peeled mango and cut into small pieces. Now, dip the mango pieces into the batter and fry in oil.

Now, enjoy your crispy, spicy and sweet mango fritter with tea.

Note: You can also replace maida with wheat powder. Avoid using over ripe mango.
