- Dried tapioca powder- 500 gram
- Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds- 4 tsp
- Salt- required
- Oil- needed for frying
- Boiling water- 1 ¾ cup
Take the tapioca powder and add turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix it well. Now add boiling water into it without getting it thickened and cluttered. Make the dough just like making it for chapati or roti. Now take a ‘murukku’ maker and fill it with the dough. Squeeze the dough into boiling oil with the ‘murukku’ maker giving your favourite designs. Let the ‘murukku’ get fried for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
