Chicken fritters and tea make a good pair; here's the recipe

For a crispy snack with the tea, we can try making chicken fritters. It is a non-veg variety of the traditional snack 'Vada' we all know. Let's see how to make chicken fritters aka chicken vada.


Chicken - 250 grams (boneless)
Split chickpea - 50 grams
Split green gram - 50 grams
Onion - 1
Garam masala - 1 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Fennel seed - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 2 1/2 teaspoon
Dried chilli - 5 nos
Green chilli - 3 nos
Salt - accordingly
Oil - accordingly
Curry leaves, coriander leaves - accordingly


Soak split chickpea, split green gram and dried chilli for 2 hours. Later, keep them aside after draining water.

Grind chicken with turmeric powder. Then add soaked lentils and grind thoroughly. Then add chopped onion and green chilli, dried chilli, garam masala, fennel seeds, ginger garlic paste and salt and mix them thoroughly.

Heat oil in a deep pan. Form the mixture in the shape of Vada and fry it in oil. Serve chicken fritters hot for tea.
