Boiled Bengal gram, banana or spicy mixture will go good with this.

At times, everyone feels lazy to cook the routine dishes or to order outside food. If you have a handful full of flattened rice, make a spicy dish in just 2 minutes. A small banana can go with it.


  • Flattened rice (white)- as required
  • Grated coconut- 2 cup
  • Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
  • Cumin- 2 tsp
  • Red chillies fried in oil- 5 to 6 in number
  • Salt- as needed
  • Sugar or jaggery - 2 tsp

Powder the coriander, chillies and cumin in a mixer or crusher. Add this powder into a bowl with grated coconut, sugar and salt. Mix it well with your hands. It becomes slightly wet when the sugar and salt melts. Now add the flattened rice into it and mix well. The flattened rice chutney is ready to serve. Boiled Bengal gram, banana or spicy mixture will be a best combination with this dish.
