Thiruvananthapuram: Admissions to the new batches of Class 10 and higher secondary equivalency courses, conducted by the State Literacy Mission Authority, will begin on February 1.
Those who have passed class VII through regular schooling or the equivalency programme of the Mission can apply for the class 10 course. The applicants must have attained the age of 17.
Applicants to the class 12 equivalency course must have completed class 10 through regular or equivalency mode. Additionally, they must be at least 22 years old.
The fee is waived for transgenders, SCs and STs.
The application form and prospectus will be available at literacymissionkerala.org from February 1 onwards. Those wishing to register can contact the District Office of the Literacy Mission or the local bodies. The application will be open till February 28 without penalty.
