Thiruvananthapuram: The Covid-19 review meeting on Thursday decided to ask teachers to come to school regularly even as classes from 1-9 are moving to online mode since January 21. The presence of teachers in the school is necessary as the academic year is ending, the committee observed. Teachers are also engaged in activities like Life Mission survey.

The committee also decided to continue physical classes for 10-12 and colleges.

The KITE had rescheduled the timings of digital classes following the school closure. The school authorities are asked to ensure continued education for the children. Teachers are asked to communicate with parents through digital media and also adopt suitable methods for differently-abled children.

Teachers may also be deputed as Sectoral Magistrates to check Covid-19 protocol violations such as crowding and not wearing masks.
