Indian Navy has invited applications for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) Course commencing in July 2022 at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Under the scheme, admission will be given to four-year B. Tech degree course for (a) Education Branch and (b) Executive & Technical Branch with 5 and 30 vacancies respectively.

Eligibility: Applicants should be unmarried males, fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Govt. of India, born between 02 January 2003 and 01 July 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Applicant should have passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examinations from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII). Applicant should have appeared for the B.E/ B. Tech paper of JEE (Main) - 2021.

Applicant will have to satisfy the prescribed Medical Standards details of which are available at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Selection Procedure: Shortlisting of applications for Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview will be based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2021. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam during March-April 2022.

Application can be submitted online at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in latest by 8 February 2022. Only one application is to be filled by a candidate. Candidate may apply for either of the branches or for both. Candidate will be shortlisted for SSB based on their first preference. If not shortlisted for the first preference, candidate may be considered for alternate branch subject to availability of spare slot in SSB batches of that Branch. Once shortlisted for a branch, subsequent stages of selection process (SSB & Merit List) will be exclusively for that branch. If a candidate has opted for only one branch he will not be considered for other branch despite being in merit.
